How to Get to NYC
NYC is easily accessible from across IEEE Regions 1 and 2:
- Direct flights to EWR, JFK, and LGA Airports
- By Amtrack, Metro-North, NJ Transit, and LIRR
- By Car
Regardless of how you get to NYC, we recommend using the NYC Subway and NJ Transit to get around. The NYC Subway runs 24/7 and now accepts contactless payment.
If you are coming by car, try to park outside Manhattan either at your hotel, in Long Island City, or New Jersey; parking in Manhattan is expensive and Congestion Pricing is in effect below 60th street.
Where to Stay
We encourage attendees to book accommodations that best fit their preferences and budget.
There is no official hotel block, and hotel accommodations are not included in Summit registration.
New York City and the surrounding metro area offer a wide range of hotel options with excellent public transit access to our venue at Jay Conference Empire in NYC.
Many attendees choose to stay in New Jersey or outer boroughs of NYC to manage costs. The Summit schedule allows plenty of time for daily travel.
